CANADA BUSINESS VISA DETAILS
To encourage commerce, Canada offers a variety of Business Visas that allow entrepreneurs, executives, and professionals to visit Canada on a temporary basis to do business. Visitors with a Canada Business Visa can:

CANADA STARTUP VISA PROGRAM:
If you are a non-Canadian and wish to establish a new business or enterprise in Canada, you can apply for a startup visa.
This initiative promotes immigrant entrepreneurs to launch businesses in Canada. Successful candidates can form partnerships with private enterprises in Canada to obtain cash and business advice.
This visa program, however, has special restrictions for startup ownership and shareholding requirements.
Eligibility requirements for visa applicants are:
- Have proof that the business has the required support
- Must fulfill the ownership requirements
- Must have the required proficiency in English or French
- Must have completed at least one year of post-secondary education
- Must have enough funds to settle in Canada and support dependent family members
- Must clear the medical tests and security requirements
To qualify for this visa, applicants must have the backing or sponsorship of a specific Canadian venture capital fund, angel investor, or company incubator.
This visa scheme has been authorized by the IRCC for certain venture capital firms, investor groups, and business incubators.
Startups that successfully complete this program must be able to get the minimum needed investment. The minimum investment from a venture capital fund should be USD 200,000. If the money comes from an angel investor group, it must be at least USD 75,000. In addition, applicants must be enrolled in a Canadian business incubation program.
